Biosignal electrode connector
Audio3 Ltd. was approached by UCL Ear institute in 2011 to help develop an electrode connector interface for hearing research. The connector was designed to connect to a specific Tucker-Davis headstage they had bought for a research project. The pitch of this connector was too fine to be produced by their usual methods and Audio3 Ltd. was able to produce this unusually small PCB with very tight track tolerances that went beyond what most manufacturers commonly do.
The project was completed on time and provided a solution that worked the first time, without any need for changes or modifications that would have absorbed a carefully planned research budget. The connectors are now routinely used for hearing research across the UCL Ear Insitute.
