The soundBadge measures from 20Hz to 20 kHz accurately for levels spanning from 60 to 140 dBSPL (143 dBC peak). A-weighted levels have an even lower noise floor and you can expect to measure from 55 dBSPL while on A-weighting. In the future, the addition of an external microphone will be able to extend this range to include levels below 45 dBSPL on A-weighting. Yes. The soundBadge is designed to work in all environments.
